The event is organized by Ente Culturale Operae Milò – center of study and promotion for crafts, design, applied and decorative arts – which manages hundreds of publications on crafts, on ceramics in particular, and the Primedicopertina collection made up of the works donated by the authors present in the covers of the D’A and La Ceramica Moderna & Antica magazines.

Meeting & Educational Tour, a unique event of art, handicraft, study, debate and much more where ICMEA member publishers will contribute with their international experiences.

ceramic capital, at the 60 Faenza Prize in the 80 years since its foundation, but an equally important role is played by the territories included in the program. The following stages are planned: Emilia Romagna (Faenza), Lazio (Viterbo), Liguria (Alassio, Albisola Superiore, Albissola Marina), Puglia (Grottaglie), Sicily (Catania, Caltagirone, Nicolosi, Taormina), Tuscany (Florence, Montelupo Fiorentino), Veneto (Nove, Bassano, Venice).

ICMEA in Italy – International Meeting & Educational Tour will take place from 18
of July 2018 and will occur in several stages from North to South of Italy. It is a traveling conference divided into five sessions, with a study and debate about ceramic art in each session with the following topics:
